Heaven’s Cradle, Inc. provides grants to any hospital, clinic, or other entity located in the West Tennessee area (outside Shelby County) that provides assistance or care for families suffering from miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss. Heaven’s Cradle, Inc. will also provide this assistance directly to families suffering loss in our coverage area.  All funding requests must align with the mission of Heaven’s Cradle, Inc.

To make a Grant request for financial assistance aligned with our mission:

• All grant requests must be pre-approved in writing prior to incurring costs. If the expense is incurred prior to obtaining approval, a request for reimbursement may be denied.
• To submit a grant request for approval, please complete the grant request form (link provided on the website) with accompanying invoice evidencing of the costs for baby burial, cremation, family counseling or other approved cost.
• Please submit your grant request and supporting documentation to Rosy Griffin via email at heavenscradlewesttn@gmail.com. Please copy Suzanne Usery bluegoosedz@gmail.com on all grant requests.  If an invoice from a third party vendor is not available or applicable, please provide such other evidence of costs that may be available which shall be subject to Board approval.
• Grants are subject to spending limits established by the Board from time to time.
• Grants for baby funeral/cremation expenses or expenses for family counseling services may only be provided up to the limits established by the Board. Any expense for baby funeral/cremation expenses or expenses for family counseling services that in excess of the spending limits established by the Board shall require Board approval, which may be granted or withheld in the Board’s sole discretion.
• Any expense other than baby funeral/cremation expenses or expenses for family counseling services shall require Board approval, which may be granted or withheld in the Board’s sole discretion.
• Any request for services to be provided in Shelby County or outside of the West Tennessee area shall require Board approval, which may be granted or withheld in the Board’s sole discretion.
